There was a time when you kept your car a lot longer.  Back when car seats were covered in cloth.  So, it wasn't unusual at all to recover those boys at least once.  The fellows down at Rogers' Car Seat are still at it.  They can take your old '67 Mustang with it's ripped out seat seams and fix you right up with color coordinated, custom fit, brand spankin' new Naugahyde in no time at all.  Everybody leaves Rogers' riding high.  Marty Rogers runs the place, but founder and dad, Walter, in his eighties, is in the shop every day, at the sewing machine, bringing the old back to life.

(Two years after this photograph was taken, Walter Rogers passed away.)
